Make a flyer print ready without starting over.
If you already have the flyer design but the file is blurry, crooked, too small, or the wrong dimensions, the goal is to fix the file you have and prepare it for the final print size.
1. Check the file you actually have
Start with the largest and clearest source available. Pixel dimensions matter more than a DPI number by itself. Use the free flyer size and DPI checker to see the real pixel dimensions and estimated physical size of the image in your browser.
2. Choose the final print size first
A file should be prepared around the size it will actually be printed. CrispyFlyer includes common flyer and poster sizes plus standard U.S. business cards and custom dimensions. See the flyer and poster size guide for the built-in sizes.
3. Keep important text away from the edge
CrispyFlyer uses a 0.25 inch safe area for important text and logos on print outputs. That is a content safety margin inside the artwork, not a promise about a specific printer's bleed or trimming requirements.
4. Use the correct output dimensions
Physical CrispyFlyer presets are created at the selected pixel dimensions and include 300 DPI metadata. For example, a half-page 5.5 × 8.5 inch output is 1,650 × 2,550 pixels at 300 DPI.
5. Clean up blur, compression, and crooked presentation
If the source is soft, compressed, pixelated, or photographed at an angle, CrispyFlyer can perform a conservative AI-assisted cleanup while working to preserve the original wording, colors, logos, people, products, and overall composition.

6. Review the finished file before sending it to print
Zoom in and inspect small text, prices, phone numbers, dates, logos, faces, borders, and any fine detail. AI-assisted reconstruction can vary, especially when the source is badly damaged or unreadable.
7. Scan every QR code, UPC, or barcode
A machine-readable code can look correct while still failing to scan. Always test every code in the finished file before printing or publishing it.
8. Check the printer's own requirements
Print shops can have different requirements for paper size, trimming, color handling, margins, and production setup. CrispyFlyer prepares the artwork to the size you choose, but the printer's own specifications still control the final job.
Do you need to rebuild the flyer?
Not usually. If the design itself is already correct, a cleanup-and-resize workflow can be faster than recreating the entire piece. If the source text is missing or completely unreadable, however, no cleanup can guarantee the exact original information.
