Why photographed flyers are difficult to reuse
A phone camera captures more than the flyer. The image may include a wall, sidewalk sign, frame, table, counter, glare, shadows, perspective distortion, or part of the surrounding room. Even when the design itself is readable, the file is not ready to send to a printer or reuse online.
What CrispyFlyer tries to do
The cleanup process works to identify the flyer itself rather than treating the surrounding scene as part of the design. It can straighten crooked presentation, separate the flyer from its background, improve soft or compressed detail, and adapt the artwork to the output size you select.
Keep the whole flyer in the photo when possible
If you can take a new photo, include all four edges of the flyer and avoid covering any text or logos. A slight angle is usually easier to work with than a photo where part of the design is completely missing.
Use the sharpest photo you have

Pick the final size instead of just enlarging the photo
After upload, choose the flyer, poster, business-card, digital, or custom size you actually want. This matters because a photographed design may have a different shape than the finished piece you need.

What about frames and borders?
If the original design contains a real printed border or frame, CrispyFlyer tries to preserve and extend that design element rather than confusing it with the physical sign frame or background around the photographed flyer.
Reflections, folds, shadows, and missing areas
AI-assisted cleanup can often improve photographed artwork, but it cannot guarantee exact recovery of details that are fully hidden, blown out by glare, deeply shadowed, folded away, or missing from the photo. Review text, logos, faces, prices, dates, phone numbers, and other important details before using the result.
QR codes and barcodes
If the photographed flyer contains a QR code, UPC, or barcode, scan the code in the finished file before printing or publishing. A code can look correct while still failing to scan.
For print
Physical presets are created at the selected pixel dimensions and include 300 DPI metadata. Printer requirements still vary, so compare the finished file with the specifications from the printer or print shop you plan to use.
For digital reuse
You can also convert the cleaned artwork into square, portrait, story, landscape, or custom digital dimensions for social media, email, websites, or digital signs.
